I enjoy the Parker and Turnipseed books. They are a great read and keep me on my toes waiting for the conclusion. Hard to put down.
I couldn't put it down. The story line flowed well. Intense, insightful, suspense-filled action adventure set in the history and tradition of the "People".
Enjoyed the Native American cultural backdrop. Looking for more books in the series.
A very revealing look at Parker from an angle reader's haven't seen before. I won't divulge more and give away the story, but those who have enjoyed the realism and steady action in Mitchell's previous tales won't be disappointed.
it is all good
I always enjoy the Ennett Parker mysteries....having been raised on a western reservation I can identifly with much of the story. I like that the 2 main characters are American Indian. (I must say that my Indian cousins refer to themselves as Indian, not Native American) I look forward to the next installment!
Kirk Mitchell is one of the best story tellers of American Indian novels. Dance of the Thunder Dogs is a must read "edge of your seat" book that should be a part of a personal library of American Indian novels. Character development and precise details of culture ways and environmental locations are top notch.
